When we first walked in, I noticed immediately how clean it looked. Even though it is really busy the floor was practically spotless and the counters were clean. Since Little Monster had been in the car awhile, I immediately took her to the restroom and even it was really clean!
Then we headed to the buffet where there was so much more food options than at CiCi’s Pizza (where we usually go):
- Salad (lettuce, spinach, carrots, peppers, cucumbers, peas, every topping you can think of plus a variety of dressings and of course, grated cheese.)
- Pizza (pepperoni, ham & pineapple, supreme, all different kinds!)
- Sides (potato salad, pasta salad, all different kinds of fruits and veggies)
- Pasta (spaghetti, macaroni & cheese)
- Desserts
The buffet at Mr. Gatti’s had so many different things, I was really impressed. I started off with a salad, I loaded my plate with lettuce, spinach, carrots, mushrooms, jalapenos, green peppers, grape tomatoes, onions, cheese and drenched it with honey mustard dressing.
Delish!
Then I loaded up my plate with pizza.
The pizza tastes soooooo good! It was so delicious that we are actually going to start going to Mr. Gatti’s instead of CiCi’s Pizza from now on (sorry, CiCi’s.)
Then we ate some more…
and some more…
The food is really good…. so good we are getting giddy…
Ben never smiles for photographs, but I bribed him… doesn’t he look charming?
We were stuffed! We went to the game room, but were a bit confused. We were used to other places where they have a machine that gives you tokens. At Mr. Gatti’s in Fredericksburg, Texas, they have a kiosk that gives you a card. Your tokens and tickets are kept on this card. So we purchased one and put $20 on it for the games. But we were a bit confused how the card thing worked, so we asked one of the employees in the game room.
I didn’t get his name (shame on me,) but he did mention he was one of the managers. He was super nice and even used his card to demonstrate for us because we really were that clueless. LOL! After we showed us the ins and outs, we were set!
They had a “wheel-of-fortune-type-thingy” where we could win tickets. Our first spin we won 1,000 tickets! Jackpot!
They had all kinds of games, from car racing (my favorite) to skeeter ball and evenbumper cars! They even had pint-sized video games appropriate for toddlers and preschoolers.
They even had a Guitar Hero-type of game.
I thought I was rockin’…. but Ben says I just look constipated…
Afterward we spent some of the tickets won and got Little Monster a pink and purple princess basketball since she is one of those princess-loving, dress-wearing tomboys (just like me!)
We all had a great time and we plan on returning to Mr. Gatti’s in Fredericksburg, Texas!
